Branding, Sub-Branding | Branding, Sub-Branding, Project Management | Spring 2021 — Spring 2022

Blingy is a tech startup that I co-found alongside a team of industry professionals. As the creative director, I took on the role of visually branding Blingy, Creating the branding for Blingy came with the challenges of starting a new business including trademarking the brand name and registering the brand visuals with the USPTO. As the company grew, we created sub-brands of Blingy reflecting the original Blingy essence, with their own twist.

Brand Collateral

Blingy Lab

Blingy Lab is a sub-brand of Blingy I started as an incubator for all the projects Blingy was taking on. Blingy Lab targets a different audience than Blingy so the branding follows this. While keeping the original Blingy “B” and blue and yellow, Blingy Lab adds a third color to this palette as well as more lab-related collateral.

 Blingy Gallery

Blingy Gallery is the sub-brand of Blingy dedicated to creating NFTs. This brand also has it’s own audience, a niche within the Blingy audience. Thus, Blingy Gallery keeps the Blingy “B’ and the main Blue but adds pinks and purples while having a darker base color.
